Rather than sign up to one of our retained HR services some businesses prefer to engage us in specific HR projects on a ‘pay as you go’ or project fee basis. Given the experience of our HR Consultants both in Northern Ireland and Glasgow we are able to make a big impact on difficult client HR issues.
Some examples of HR projects we have undertaken include:
- Interim onsite HR Management – this involves placing a HR Consultant at a client site for a period of time in order to provide HR Management cover.

Mediation is a form of ‘alternative dispute resolution’ which is essentially a tool to deal with disagreements between individuals in the workplace and is much less formal than grievance and discipline procedures and employment tribunals.
The overriding aim is to restore and maintain the employment relationship wherever possible. This means that the focus is more on working together to go forward, not determining who was right or wrong in the past. With this in mind, it is most effective before positions become entrenched however it can be used at any stage in a dispute.
